| Description: | This content, which is part of the multimedia material of the book Borderless Education in the Amazon: trajectory and perspectives of the UFPA distance learning, brings the report given by the professor Antônio Cláudio Lima, who tells the implantation process of the Chemistry major degree course in the distance learning way at the Federal University of Pará. He underlines the equivalence between the distance learning and the presencial courses. Among the implantation difficulties, he underlines the necessity of a laboratory infrastructure, the selection of tutors and the Internet connection at the poles. He also talks about the way the course develops at the poles and the number of students regularly enrolled in the course. |
