| Description: | This content integrates the divulgation actions of the project UFPA Multimedia, which makes available in this institutional repository the scientific production developed in the extent of the Federal University of Pará, in multimedia languages. The video presents the testimonial of one of the coordinators of the project, the professor José Miguel Martins Veloso, coordinator of the Consultantship of Distance Learning of the UFPA and Coordinator of the Open University of Brazil - UFPA. The interviewee initially talks about the importance of the repository for the academic community, as an initiative that reinforces the role of the university in the extension, research and teaching tripod.
José Miguel also highlights that the Repository UFPA Multimedia will help professors and students who can get scientific contents with more facility. For the interviewee, the project will act as an accelerator of production, since it will make possible to the UFPA professors to publish their work and be recognized by this.
The researcher points some differential of the UFPA Multimedia, among them the availability of contents in three languages and the discussion about education at the Amazon.
At the end, the professor comments on his expectations for the repository use by the future users. |
