| Description: | The Multicampi University project is about the interiorization process of Learning of the Federal University of Pará, initiated in the 1980’s, during the dean José Seixas Lourenço’s administration (1985 – 1989). In the initial stage, the priority was given to the bachelor degree courses in Languages, Mathematics, History, Geography and Pedagogy. The project, besides qualifying outsider teachers, gave work opportunity for those who already had a major. The courses had interval format and gave the towns of Abaetetuba, Altamira, Castanhal, Marabá, Santarém e Soure, which were selected according to the economic development research made by the State, access to the higher education. At first, the process was independent, only receiving support from the Ministry of Education (MEC) years later after its implementation, in the 1990’s, and amplifying its action field in the 2000’s.
In this content there is the interview given by the Professor Maria Lúcia Langbeck Ohana, who is the General Secretary of the Rector Office and, as a professor, she works at the PARFOR of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). She has specialization in Geography of the Amazon with emphasis in society and nature by the Federal University of Pará, Full Degree in Geography and she is Bachelor in Geography by the UFPA. She developed her activities in the UFPA, in the Application School and, eventually, in the Program of Interiorization of the Geography College of the UFPA.
In this interview, the professor talks about her basic and high school education until she enters the Geography course, full degree (1997) and bachelor’s (1978). She tells her activities as a high school teacher, including the Pedagogic Integrated Nucleus (NPI), as well her acting as a director of the Teachers’ Association of the UFPA, between 1999 a 2001. The professor highlights her experiences as a professor of the Interiorization and the National Plan of Qualification of Basic Education Professors (PARFOR). She also talks about the President's Support Program for the Restructuring and Expansion of Federal Universities (REUNI). |
