Description: | In this content, there is the inaugural class of the Program of Post-Graduation in Communication, Culture and Amazon (PPGCOM), on August 16th of 2012. The class, which had as theme “Amazon of Senses and Meanings: a trajectory of research”, was given by the professor Maria Helena Weber, with the slogan “Commitment and responsibility to research, teach, learn and communicate”. Maria Helena Weber is coordinator of the Area of Applied Social Sciences I (Communication. Science of the Information. Museology) and she is a titular member of the CTC/ CAPES, besides being a Titular Professor of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
In the video, the professor mentions the relationship between politics and post-graduation in Brazil, in that the post-graduation integrates several public policies implemented by the Brazilian State for the development of the country. She mentions the Document of the Area of the Applied Social Sciences I, highlighting the field of Communication, and the ways of evaluation of the programs. She talks about the National Plan of Post-Graduation of the CAPES (PNPG/2011-2020). The professor also explains the subject professional master’s degree, besides the qualis technical, artistic, book and journal. |
