| Description: | This content integrates the divulgation actions of the project UFPA Multimedia, which makes available in this institutional repository the scientific production developed in the extent of the Federal University of Pará, in multimedia languages. The video presents Silvério Sirotheau Corrêa Neto’s testimonial, coordinator of the Information Technology Staff of the UFPA Multimedia and collaborator researcher of the Laboratory of Research and Development in TI of the Consultantship of Distance Learning of the UFPA. The interviewee tells how the project UFPA Multimedia appeared, with prominence to the support that was used in the repository construction, the DSpace. Silvério explains the platform working, possibilities of use and its differential, highlighting the types of players incorporated to the DSpace. The researcher also comments on the importance of the project for professors and students, in special at distance mode, who can receive, from the repository, specific material made available by professors. At the end, the interviewee points some difficulties of participating of a multidisciplinary staff and exposes the staff’s expectations concerning the release of the repository UFPA Multimedia. |
